How do I find out their waist trainer size?
From most accurate to least, here are the options.
- Ask them. A trainer that fits beats a surprise that doesn't. You can keep the product a secret and still ask for a waist measurement.
- Check a trainer they already own. If it's ours and it fits well, order the same size and length. Other brands size differently, so a label from another brand is only a starting point.
- Ask someone who shops with them. A partner, sister or gym friend may know their size, or can ask without it seeming odd.
- Use their clothing size as a last resort. The Find My Fit quiz has an "I don't know my waist" option that estimates from usual clothing size. Measurements are more accurate.

What torso length should I buy?
Torso length decides whether the trainer sits flat or rolls and digs in, so it matters as much as size. Measure from the bottom of your ribs to the top of your hip bone. Under 8.5 inches: 8". 8.5 to 10.5: 10". Over 10.5: 12". Height is only a rough guide. Two people the same height can need different lengths.
